LUPIN.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF MERINO WOOL AND TENCEL.

The mission was to create that one- single- t-shirt that simply works for every occasion. Your everyday, every activity t-shirt. Basically a t-shirt you feel comfortable wearing to any activity or occasion, home to work to adventure.

THE ONLY T-SHIRT YOU'LL EVER NEED.

Even though it is just a t-shirt, there are few details that changes everything. And just like the Ljung pants, the Lupin t-shirt sets a new standard when it comes to performance and price.

LUPIN FEATURES.

ORDINARY SIMPLICITY.

A slightly adjusted, yet very traditional t-shirt.

Even though it is just a t-shirt, it still has a few details that makes all the difference. The first and most important is of course the magic fabric, a blend of merino wool and tencel that we have decided to call Äng. More info on Äng a bit further down this page.

GOT YOUR BACK.

The Lupin t-shirt is quite long, as we have added some length in the back. We wanted ta make sure your back would be protected in all kinds of activities.

THE SEAMS.

The t-shirt is built from four main parts, just like a traditional t-shirt. To get a better performance we have off-set all seams slightly. This will prevent the seams from chafing when carrying a backpack or using the t-shirt running or biking.

LUPIN MATERIALS.

THE PERFECT BLEND.

All natural fibers with naturally anti-bacterial properties that stays fresh day after day after day.

THE FABRIC CALLED ÄNG.

Äng is a 170g/sqm fabric and the main fiber, 60%, is mulesing free merino wool. Merino wool has some of the most astonishing qualities. It is a great insulator and has at the same time, great evaporate properties. This means that when in cold climate, merino wool keeps you warm and when in warm climate, merino wool cools you down. It is also naturally anti-bacterial which means that you can wear your t-shirt longer without starting to smell. Merino wool is an organic and sustainable fiber and we have sourced the highest quality wool, guaranteed mulesing free.

The other 40% of our blend is tencel. Tencel is a cellulose fiber that comes from the raw material wood. It is such a fine fiber that it is soft like silk to your skin. Not only is tencel extremely smooth, it has also really good absorbent and evaporate properties. This means that it helps the merino wool to regulate your temperature and keeping you, not too warm, not too cold. Just like merino wool the tencel fiber is an organic and sustainable fiber.

You will be amazed how fresh the fabric feels if you put the t-shirt on a hanger over night! This will save both you en the environment many washes compare to an ordinary polyester och cotton t-shirt.

LUPIN FIT.

CLASSIC YET RE-ENGINEERED.

The Lupin t-shirt comes in a female and a male fit, where both genders have the same design.

The male model measures 172cm in height and weights 80kg and he is wearing size medium.

The female model measures 172cm in height and weights 63kg and she is wearing size medium.

LUPIN PRODUCTION.

CLOSER TO HOME.

KNITTED IN SWEDEN.

In a small town called Marbäck just outside Ulricehamn you find a state of the art knitting factory called Marbäck tricot. Established in 1965 they have evolved and refined the craftsmanship of knitting over many years and if feels extremely good to be able to use their fabrics for our Lupin t-shirt.

SEWN IN LATVIA.

About two hours outside of Riga you find a small town called Kuldiga. An old town with beautiful buildings and also known for its extremely wide waterfall.

Here you find a 200 year old brick building, just like what you would imagine a classic factory building to look like. Where the tradition of craftsmanship is mixed with modern technology, creating a blend of perfect harmony. This is where the Lupin t-shirt gets sewn.
